About Lexi

Long before she became one of the most recognizable names in women’s golf, Lexi Thompson was a phenomenon. She qualified for the U.S. Women’s Open at just 12 years old, turned professional at 15 and won her first LPGA Tour event at 16. Over a career spanning more than a decade, Thompson has amassed 11 LPGA Tour victories, including the 2014 Kraft Nabisco Championship, and represented the United States in seven Solheim Cups.

Thompson stepped away from full-time competition following the 2024 season, a decision that reflected both the extraordinary demands of her career and her desire for a different balance in life. She has continued to make select appearances, including LPGA events in 2026, allowing fans to see one of the sport’s most beloved personalities back between the ropes without the pressures of a full schedule.

Off the course, Thompson has always been open about her love of family and her life away from golf. In August 2026, she and husband Max Provost announced they are expecting their first child, a daughter, in February 2027.

For fans, watching Lexi compete now feels less like following the next chapter of a career and more like appreciating a remarkable one still being written.
